What is Rainbow Theater? It’s a place that gives you an understanding of who you are. It helps define your purpose in life.
Rainbow Theater is the only multicultural theater troupe in the whole UC system. Housed at UC Santa Cruz and still helmed by its founder, Don Williams, Rainbow has been a bastion for activism and alternative theater on campus. After 30 years of providing a stage to thousands of young artists, Don Williams and key students reflect on its lasting power. (2023)
